Friday Favourites - Vol 2

A short & sweet post about what I'm currently loving ♥

It's been a fortnight since my last installment, and to be honest not a great deal has changed - I'm still listening to 'Heroes' and slumbering peacefully under my pop-art Nic Cage ;)

Lily Loves Crochet Back Shrug in Cream
$35 AUD - shop here
I bought this about a month or so ago when it was still *technically* summery here. I love the shorter sleeves and lace detail at the back; works perfectly with a light summery dress and a red lip. Dayum.

Sixteen92 - The Orchard Keeper
$4.50-$13 USD - shop here
I received this in a sample size when I bought some assorted goodies to try out. At first sniff I passed this up but then came back later on because it was stuck in my mind. Notes are night blooming jasmine, peach, apricot, pink pepper, sandalwood and it's listed as being in the floral/fruity, feminine fragrance family.
Frankly, I can't describe the fragrance; all my weak little heart knows is that I must cover myself in it.

Lush - Let the Good Times Roll
$16.95 AUD - shop here
Scented with Pia’s popcorn perfume, Let the Good Times Roll is my HG cleanser. My facial skin is sensitive, and as an exfoliating enthusiast I have to be super careful about what I use. My previous favourite was Angels on Bare Skin - which is still amazing - but the smell of Let the Good Times Roll has me addicted.
LTGTR is gentle, smells delicious and leaves my skin feeling soft, moisturised and fragranced. Love it.

Adventure Time - Lady Rainicorn Mug
$15 AUD - shop here
This is a pretty basic one. I'm an AT mug collector... yes.. you now know my secret shame.
But, seriously, this is a recent addition to my collection and for some reason the colour palette on this one is like an grubby-husband hug, you resist it because ew, but once you get it... you're happy you have it.

Carlie De Boer - The Honeymoon Stage
Listen here
My second secret shame, I found this track through Dance Moms (god, it's out there now).
It was stuck in my head, and to be honest I thought the dance Chloe did with this was beautiful. But I ended up searching out the track on YT after watching that episode, and have been listening to it regularly since.

Urban Decay - Naked 3 Palette
$78 AUD - shop here
I actually got this from a Sephora haul over Christmas (it counted as a gift from my partner, to be fair). So the wait was long, the price was high, and my temper was loose at ShopMate regularly for their shocking Christmas delays and absolutely ZERO customer service. Ahem. A story for another time.
Naked 3 is my first UD palette and it is the most perfect thing I have laid eyes upon, and upon my eyes. I love each shade, and it is my go-to when I'm doing heavy makeup or if I'm in a rush. I always prefer over a primer but this beauty works just fine over bare skin for a few hours (frankly I don't expect more than that, if I want long lasting I wear a quality primer).
It works perfectly with my skintone, the colours are soft and pliable, and the pigmentation is spot on. We have a winner!

Thanks for reading!
