Swatch Spam Saturday - Hello Waffle

Swatch Spam Saturday is of the current selection of Hello Waffle lip balms.

Today I have a colourful feast for your eyes! I've worn each shade at least twice now, however not for long periods. Because of that I'm not giving any type of in-depth review but rather just the basics.

A Tail of Two Kitties
Described as: A dark brown-toned burgundy.
My take: A lovely tuscan red, this shade is so flattering and opaque.

Romeow and Mewliet
Described as: Bold, rusty orange-red.
My take: Spot on. Formula and opacity was brilliant. Love this shade.

Practise What You Peach
Described as: A soft peach with a blue glow.
My take: A definite soft peach which gives your lips a subtle hint of coral. A simply gorgeous everyday colour. I did find the balm was a bit hard initially, and I did not notice a blue glow unfortunately.

Jane Pawsten
Described as: A lady-like demure pink.
My take: Definitely a demure pink. I found it leaned to having cool undertones, but was extremely flattering for my skintone. No application issues.

Lady
Described as: Peachy-salmony lip balm.
My take: I would have described it more as a sheer scarlet with coral tones, or even as a deep carmine. It bursts onto the lips in such a bright, fun colour - but without the aggression of a bold red lip. Loving this one.

Cherrylicious
Described as: A vibrant cherry with soft golden shimmer.
My take: Definitely a gorgeous bright cherry red, but sadly no shimmer that I could see. However I think for me this is a good thing because I would have preferred how it is rather than something shimmery.

*Sigh*
Described as: A deep burgundy red lip balm.
My take: A very rich crimson with slight magenta-pink tones. My swatch shows it brighter however.

Overall I really enjoyed the shades though I do wish some had been a bit softer. Considering it's still summer here, it wasn't due to the temperature - though once it was warmed up on the lips during application it certainly became easier to use. I wouldn't let that dissuade you though, because all the colours are quite lovely and flattering, with good opacity.
Some shades are non-vegan.
